Double Leg Kickstand?
I'm looking to put double kickstands (the kind with two legs, that work as a centerstand) on a couple of bikes. This seems like a not-too-spendy alternative.

How have your experiences been with this product?
One bike is an Xtracycle that we use for grocery shopping with 60+ lb of groceries in the panniers. The other is a UO-8 destined to be a campus bike with a load of books on the front porteur rack. In both cases, the laden bikes don't do so well leaned over on a conventional sidestand.

They work fine, better if a KS plate on the frame , cast aluminum. Hebie is aother kind , but it does not fold along the left side of the bike
EXtracycle has their own , wider stance .

I have one on my "shopping bike".
The front wheel tended to flop to the side when the basket was heavily loaded and cause the bike to fall over. I solved yhat problem with one of these.
VO Wheel Stabilizer - Racks & Decaleurs - Accessories
Please note that the stand that you linked to has no top plate. It will be useless to you unless you frame has one built in.
For those of you that are about to tell me that I'm crushing my Reynolds 531 rapid taper chainstays, they're packed with epoxy putty in the area of the clamp. It was an experiment and it seems to have worked.

I didn't notice the lack of a top plate. I have one in my pile of junque, if I can unearth it. No worries about damaging the chainstays. One bike is a Peugeot UO-8 and the other is a Bridgestone MB-5, both pretty beefy frames, and I will see about packing or padding the area too.
The porteur rack is a VO and came with the stabilizer, which I installed. It helps a little. I'm going to build a platform with 2" fences for the rack, of some 1/4" plywood.

This was done after I painted it and before assembly. I shaped corks to jam a few inches down the stays so that I could pack in the putty tightly without leaving air pockets.
It occurred to me just now while I was installing a Rhodegear Flickstand on another bike that it would also prevent flopping while parked. It might even work better.

The OPs link looks like a more expensive chromed ESGE heavy duty kickstaand.

I would expect the pletscher to work great for the bike with the porteur rack and not at all on the xtracycle.
FWIW I have a bike with a pletscher double, and have some xtracycle experience. The kickstand is not wide enough to deal with much of an asymmetrical load on the bike, for example if you use one rear pannier the bike will tend to fall over. But a porteur rack would not have this problem.
As for the xtracycle... It's not strong enough, but I think it's highly unlikely it would fit anyway. It would expect to be mounted exactly where your FAP (front attachment plate) is. So no go. Xtracycle's "kickback" stand is a much better choice but does weigh 4lbs and cost $150..
