I have this crank set on my bike in good condition, but my chain ring's teeth are worn enough for the chain to jump when going up hill (I just replaced the chain & rear cassette).
Where can I get compatible *new* or *excellent condition* used chain rings for less than $20?

Usually that's nigh on impossible, at least for new ones but if you don't mind a 39 instead of a 42 small ring AND don't mind round rings instead of Biopace...

look on ebay under bicycling stuff and chainrings. looks like 130 bcd crank so limit your search to 130bcd and the number of teeth you want, like this: "chainring 130 bcd 39t". then sort by price.

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
The Biopace chainrings have not been made for a long time but still show up on the grey market, the 600 crank has a 130mm bolt circle and there are plenty of standard round rings to replace the worn Biopace in that size at all kinds of price levels.
Under $20.00 might be a stretch unless you have a good bike co-op nearby.
