Thanks

This "two" gizmo looks to be a light housing for a generator driven light system. The mounting bracket is likely missing the portion that fits behind a handle bar stem binder bolt or that fits on the brake center/mounting bolt. This could also be a tail light in which the bracket might attach to a rack or fender mount, at the rear drop out. On second look the bracket has a dog leg offset to it so a tail light is the more likely guess. Andy.

Edit:,The second gizmo

And yes, there is a dogleg on the light mount. I tried to put on the fork with no success. Maybe it is indeed a tail light.

This second gizmo is a Rhode Gear mirror. It's bracket is shaped to go over a drop bar brake lever body/hood. There was a velcro strap that wrapped around the lever body and bracket holding it together. many found that this added bulk to the LH lever was not comfy and this mirror didn't sell well in the shops i worked in. Andy.

Thanks Andy. I've been thinking about mounting it just like in the pic, with either velcro or a zip tie.
