Can anyone identify this noise ?

Yesterday my Trek X-caliber 6 started making a noise after a little bit of riding. Id describe the sound as a noisy bed, or someone trying to pry apart two boards. its not an old, worn bike. this was the third time Ive used the bike on a trail, and the other two trails were very mild compared to this trail.

what do you guys/gals think the noise is?

Sounds like the South Eastern post pecker. They make a lot of noise when dehydrated and flying zig/zagedly. Let this animal have a drink of lube for god's sake. Andy.

IDK... i thought it sounded like a balloon stuck in the spokes. easy enough to check. if so, as mentioned, some lube might help.
