Spinnergy PBO spokes frozen - any advice?

Spinnergy PBO spokes frozen - any advice?
Hi,
I'm a old ex bike mechanic and have run across a new problem for me. I bought and old set of Spinnergy Xareo wheels a few years back. They work fine, however they finally need a little truing. I sent away to Spinnergy and got the special wrench needed for the alum. nipples, $5 - no problem, but trying to turn the nipples to adjust it just twists the PBO spokes. I assume the alum. has lightly corroded (I see none) and the nipples ore stuck to the alum. spoke ends. Because the PBO spokes are some type of flexable treads they can't hold their shape when torqued and simply twist.
There really is no way to grip the spoke ends as they are too far into the nipple. And I'm not convinced I should grip the spokes with a vise grip etc. as the vinyl type cover may be damaged. I tried WD40 to loosen with no effect. I can't be the only one who has run across this issue. Any ideas?

A real penetrating oil may help.
Plain WD-40 isn't, although apparently they now sell one.

The PBO spokes use 2 different tools one to hold the spoke (splined tool) from twisting and with the rim tape removed the socket inserted thru the rim to turn the nut.
If it's frozen put some type of lube in were the spoke nut is and let it sit for a day and try again.
If you are having trouble holding that little wrench slide something over it to make it longer so you have better leverage you do not want to have the PBO spoke twist!
I might add that from what your saying you doing it wrong by the way!
Do you know what the PBO spoke looks like on that end?
I'll post a photo of it for you I have a few that I can show you so you can see just what you are trying to turn if that will help.
You sound like your using the wrench tool to try to turn the part on the left in the photo that's used to hold the spoke from twisting so you can turn the nut with the socket tool from the rim side.
