I have two questions before buying a new 32 spoke standard rear wheel for road bike

I've been riding the wheel for about a year and in the last two weeks two spooks have broke (one on drive side and one on non-drive side). I've read this can continue happening unless you get a new rim now and again (tuned them both times). I am going to buy a new standard 32 spoke rear road wheel (with spokes, hub, and all that of course). I'm just looking to get the same rim I have now basically.

1) I ride a 700x25c tire, how do I choose a rim with the correct width to match 25c tires? I don't see measurements on my current rim.

2) I have an 8-gear lockring cassette on the rear wheel. How do I find a rim to match and do I need to look for any particular measurements so I know I can fit the cassette? Or do I just need a rear wheel that can fit a cassette and the lockring/ measurements/ amount of gears are unneeded?

3) Anything else I should know? (this is my first time buying a wheel but I guess that is obvious to you by now)

Specs if needed------

Cassette; SUN-RACE 12-24T, 8-SP

Front/rear hub: Formula Aluminum Alloy Road, 32h / Formula Aluminum Alloy Cassette Road, 9-speed (I don't know why this says nine speed in the specs), 32H

Spokes: 14G Stainless steel

Rims: ALEX RPD15, 700C SILVER Aluminum W/CNC SIDE WALL F/V clincher

Tires: Kenda K-152, 700 X 25c, presta valve tubes

Thanks so much for any assistance.

622-15 to 622-17 in small print on rim label and in published online rim specs. (You can get away with 622-14 and 622-18 in many cases as well...)

Hub in new wheel just needs to be 8/9/10 speed spec. Spline stop to outside edge of locknut will measure 40.5mm to 41mm. Outside Locknut to Outside Locknut dimension will be 130mm (Road) or 135mm (MTB/Hybrid).

Sorry, I'm a bit confused about that. So I should check what my wheel says I am in terms of the ranges 622-14 to 622-18? Also, I need the measurement of my spline to lockring?
