You might be OCD when you:
- complain that your shower stall/bathtub is too small to allow for proper bicycle cleaning
- after a rainy ride, you wash the underside of the saddle until it's as spotless as the top tube.

..might have OCD if you replaced the allen bolts on your stem 'cause the old ones had a tinge of rust - and are much happier whilst riding 'cause you did. (I did this)
..might have OCD 'cause you insist that it's "have" and not "be", as in "..be OCD".

You might be OCD if you spend 90 minutes filing contoured grooves and humps in to grips to match the precise shape of your palm and finger span.
You might be OCD if you then hand sand the entire suface of each of those grips to a faux suede texture in order to provide maximum grip with the least squeeze required.
You ARE OCD if it bothers you that OCD is not in alphabetical order.

FB, Last OCD moment I had was a couple of days ago, I flipped the front wheel around on my beater so that the lettering would match the rear hub. The lettering can be read from either side as it reads "vertically" around the circumference of the hub.
Post 02: Almost guilty, but after having just trued the wheel, I'll wait for an emergency.
Post 03: Guilty.

BTW, you "might" have OCD if you release all the air out of your tires to re-inflate them!

You might be OCD if you took your Campagnolo NR DT shifters apart and cleaned them really well then put them back together and rode the bike a couple of hundred miles BUT kept thinking "Did I put the steel flat washers back in with the side that originally faced the aluminum friction surface still facing the aluminum? On both sides? Did I clean the lever's aluminum faces well enough or should I have lightly sanded them to be sure they were nice and smooth like new? Will that make a difference?"..... mile after mile after mile.
Might be OCD, but I then did take them back apart and those friction faces were a tiny bit rough from 35 years of dust/dirt. I did very lightly burnish those friction faces with 300 paper and did face the steel washers back to as found (I could see the shiny rub ring on one side of each) and they do now operate more smoothly and don't need the tension screws as tight. So, OCD or craftsmanship? I donno. I've still got a lot to learn

So there you are. You're OK. A guy who was OCD would disassemble and relace the wheel properly.

Doesn't matter. How can you sleep knowing that your wheel is WRONG? At the start of a group ride don't you feel everybody looking down at your wheel and thinking "That's just not right."? If you're not going to fix it you might as well change your name to Fred.

OK, but your grand kids might be scarred for life knowing that their grand dad's a Fred and he DOESN'T EVEN CARE! I'll bet your kit doesn't even match when you're baby sitting and you think that nobody else is looking. The grand kids are looking and they're forming judgments about you , trust me.

You might have OCD if you get upset that you lost one of the blue valve stem caps that matched your blue sidewall tires and had to put a black one on. (Who? Me?)
