You might be OCD if .....
With apology to Jeff Foxworthy, this thread was suggested by some of the stuff I've seen here on BF, most recently the lengthy discussion of how to get a nicer cut on cable ties.
So you might be OCD it you spend dough on a new tool just to get a nicer cut on cable ties.
My intent isn't to be critical of anyone (hence the might) not to start cross discussion of what is or isn't actually an OCD practice, just to lightly poke fun at the extremes some go to regarding their bicycles.
Please list your favorite, or least favorite OCD bicycle mechanics practice, and please let's keep it light and not get worked into a frenzy over anything.
Let's give proper homage to Mr. Foxworthy and post in the approved OCD format --- You might be OCD if....

You Might be OCD if you unlace and relace a wheel just because the valve hole didn't line up with the marking on the hub.

You might be OCD if you trim all the the little nubs off of new tires.
You might be OCD if all the labels on your bike align. I could never decide if the label on the front hub should be top up facing the front of the bike or the rider.
You might be OCD if you remount a tire because the exact center of the label wasn't aligned with the valve stem.

You might be OCD if you re-wrap your bars to get the same number of wraps before the brake levers on each side.
(or you might just suck at wrapping bars)

You might be OCD if you set your saddle level w/ a carpenter's bubble level only after ascertaining floor level w/ same & adjusting tire pressure.

You might be OCD if you take your cassettes apart and clean each cog individually with a rag. Including every valley of every tooth. Same for chainrings.
Looks like I am OCD. The front hub label should face the rider!!! In my opinion...

You might be OCD if you spend 1hr filing, sanding and polishing a part no one will see once installed, like a saddle clamp.
You might be OCD if you check drop bar brake lever alignment with a long ruler and a bubble level.
You might be OCD if you know by heart all your fitting parameters - saddle height, saddle setback, saddle-to-bar, etc, etc

A lot of these posts don't seem excessive.
Here's another that's not extreme:
I had to re-trim the brake and shifter housings. The LBS left them "way" too long. Cut one, hold it in place; nope -- trim it two more times. Perfect.
(Non-OCD: I reuse cable end crimps if possible, so they have multiple crush zones.)

You might be OCD if you apply vinyls to your bike that match your tattoos.
You are OCD if you have your tattoos touched up because the vinyls look better.
And in case you think this is inconceivable, it is not.

You might be OCD if you insist that all screw heads, bolt heads, and nuts be aligned. You are OCD if this includes spoke nipples.
You might be OCD if you balance the wheels. You are OCD if you do this with tires mounted.

You might be OCD if you lace and unlace and relace and unlace and relace an old beater wheel a couple of dozen times to embed the process in both muscles and memory.

Uh - usually the lightest point on the rim is adjacent to the valve stem. Don't ask how I know.
