Specialized CGR SeatPost

A while back I bought myself a CGR seatpost. Pretty expensive item for me, but after buying it I figured my wife would appreciate it as much or more than I so I gave it to her for xmas, although it wasn't used till this spring season. For Father's day she bought me the same seatpost because it turns out she really liked it. I rode with it today for the first time on a short test ride. Wow. That's all I can say. Really sweet. Anyone with a 27.2 dia seat post would do well to grab one of these. It is very, very nice. It turned out local chip seal into smooth asphalt.

My wife is using one of these on the back of our tandem. She prefers it to the Cane Creek Thudbuster that she had on their before; although the Specialized has a lot less travel, apparently it has a lot less bounce to it and gives a better overall feel; it's also 200 grams lighter which I like a lot.

I have been thinking of getting a CGR post for my gravel grinder. You can purchase adapters to fit different/larger seat post holes.
