The one arm truing stands I've used have all been a bit flexi. I never understood the reason to design one, I don't consider a smaller foot print a good enough reason. BTW does this stand have a second "drop out" installed during the wheel's mounting? If not then one had better remove the skewer springs least they get crushed. Andy.

Good points, and kind of what I was thinking.
The stability offered by two arms seems pretty important...
