Because you are abusing the bike doing tricks and stunts ..

from the closed thread a reminder

For the benefit of others, here is an abridged history of Stuntex here:

Does anyone know about k2 zed 2.1?
Should I buy this bike, all I do is wheelies and stoppies

The thing that holds the front wheel
I bought this bike yesterday, jumped 200 times, I jump from 1-1.2 meters! and now some thingy is broken

Bunny hop
I'm bunny hopping now

Ticking sound.
I'm still jumping and now my bike makes funny noises

Another problem in my bike
Now my front wheel won't spin but I can type 140 wpm and post useless videos

My handlebar broke
My bar broke! And I've only ever jumped 30-40 cm, honest!
perhaps you should go back to a BMX X games stunt Bike.

until you decide to take up cross country and single track riding which is more suited to a MTB..

Step 1: Decide if you are keeping your stem, or getting a new one
Step 2a: If keeping, determine the handlebar clamp size. Go to step 3.
Step 2b: If new stem, find out handlebar clamp size. Go to step 3.
Step 3: Buy sturdy aluminum bars with matching clamp size.

You cannot skip steps 1 & 2.

I am amazed there are so many intelligent people here that are still responding to this guy. It's either a waste of time or a joke. Either way, ignore it and it will go away.

Looks like it is now time for you to step away from whatever digital device you are using to interact with the Community and start measuring.

Can you give me a picture how to measure?
I measured from the handle bar to the stem and it was 25 +-
How exactly to do that?

Get a piece of string, any color, wrap it around the handlebar at the clamp point and mark the point on the string where it meets the end. This length is called the "circumference" of the bar. Then, divide the "circumference" by *pi to reveal the diameter.

* pi = approximately 3.14159265359

PROTIP: make sure the string is not elastic or otherwise stretchy to insure an accurate measurement.

I don't think I can because it's broken in the middle.
Can you tell me the diameter by looking at the picture?

Yes, it is precisely 2r where r is the radius of the handlebar.

Or, diameter divided by 3.14
After you invest $1.99 in an Allen wrench, you can figure it out.

a hell of a lot of MTB bars are 1" in the center , the grips go on a smaller 7/8" portion Off the center .

some manufacturers just use the 7/8" for the entire bar* and supply a Shim at the center to match the bar clamp diameter .

* they got some much thicker wall tubing to make the bars stronger..

Typically the manufacturer bulges the center out and the transition makes the tube wall thinner as it is stretched out into the bulge.

* = 1.25"
