Looking for Soma ES Fork rake opinion

I was going to start my Soma ES build today, but I just noticed I was sent the wrong rake on the fork. Soma recommends 43mm(60cm frame) and I have a 40mm. Is this going to be a big deal? I originally ordered the fork online because the local shops didn't have 43, and didn't know when they could get one.

Why not use the correct fork from Soma?

Not w/ a 40mm rake:

"CrMo fork with lugged sloping crown

- Matching fork for ES frame

- 43mm and 45mm rakes available"

Soma CrMo57 Lugged Road Fork

Rake matters for Trail. 40mm may do fine, 43mm won't be a shot in the dark.

Here's a good read: Dave Moulton's Blog - Dave Moulton's Bike Blog - Trail, fork rake, and a little bit of*history

Call me crazy but I've ridden OEM spec framesets (that's a frame w/ matching spec fork) for decades, they handle predictably.
