Fenders to accommodate Bruce Gordon Rock N Road Tires?
Honjo makes some in 700x50. Would rather not pay that much if it can be avoided. I'd like them to be alloy or steel. Any recommendations?

Fabricate ! get a strip of Aluminum flat sheet curved to make your own?
.125" by 2" can be really rugged Its at the builders supply-hardware store.
(SKS also makes wide Mudguards I've been OK with their kind of plastic for Decades..)

Aluminum fenders are usually boutique items these days and the last steel fenders I remember were on my early '50's J.C. Higgins (Sears' house brand) so the only reasonably priced ones are plastic. SKS and Planet Bike are the most commonly available brands.
