Campagnolo Hiddenset for Carbon Steerers?

Has Campy made a steerer wedge, not a star nut, for a hidden set that will work with a carbon steerer? The last thread on this topic was in 2010 and I read star nut only. Is this still the case?

Is there any reason that a Campy-specific expander is required? AFAIK, any expander will work the same as long as it's the right diameter to fit in the steerer. FSA and Profile Designs both make expanders.

+1, campy makes headsets, which fit the OD of the steerer, not the ID. The expander system is more the fork maker's problem, or one for after market producers of which there are many.

Lots of adequate compression expanders sold.. does it have to be Campagnolo made?

nobody can tell.. if you get a Blank, maybe carbon fiber top-Cap.
