Chain/Derailluer feels crunchy

This has happened to two of my bikes already. I cleaned the chain and added Raceday lubricant and now the higher gears feel kind of "crunchy" when I apply power. Everything looks right from my point of view for the derailluer is able to lift and lower the chain to all the cogs without any difficulty. However, the bike feels like it lost the "New" feeling because the drivetrain feels crunchy in higher gears. There's no noise at all but I can feel the difference on my feet. Am I concerned about nothing or is there something that can be done? Thanks
