Small Grease *** suggestion?

While servicing a front hub yesterday I started wondering about a small grease ***? I currently use Park grease in a tube and just squeeze out abit and use my finger. But anyone use a small *** with some type of fine nozzle?
Thanks!

I have an oversized hypodermic that my dad used to lube parts on old radio/tv sets. Here is something that might work for you...

It's been on my radar for a while. Need a vacuum not cartridge type so I can use any grease. Vertically held type with a lever pulled by fore and middle fingers. Usually called a ****** grip, but out not-very-context sensitive filter won't let me express myself. Just haven't resolved how to know if it will squirt a good amount of grease with a single squeeze - I would hate to keep pumping it just to get a bead around a bearing race.

I figure grease ***s are good to force viscous grease through a small hole in a grease fitting. For other uses, just using the tube and finger tip works fine. I do have a ****** ***** which works extremely well for putting new grease into cartridge bearings and many other uses as well.

I'm planning on buying the Dualco Grease G*n as it's the right price and seems to have consistent good reviews. It also has a needle nozzle available. I would have linked it from Amazon, but the forum's overzealous censoring of the g*n word even censored it in the link.

Ugh. That's just awful.

I have one that uses the plastic tube the grease comes in , it replaces the Cap on the tube. You fold and roll up the tube, so as to Not suck air into the pump..

I use a syringe. If you have kids, then you get syringes whenever they get ear infections or other childrens medications.

What Gresp said. Oral syringe in the children's section of the grocery store.

I use my pinky finger. It's convenient, it never gets lost on my workbench, and the price is right.

A syringe sounds like a real pita to load grease into.
I use them for penetrating oil & chain lube.

I have a bike grease *** that has a tiny nozzle, thumb pump and screws onto a tube of Park grease. Great for lybing older Campy hubs bewtween servicing (small hole in the middle of the hub axle for the grease ***. Here is a similar one:

I have a Dualco. Short tip for most jobs. Long tip for Grease Guard hubs and fixed cup side of the BB repacks.

It's a bit of a pain to fill, not that bad, though. I pack it full of grease out of a 1 lb. tub with my Park spoke ruler.

Oral syringes really aren't. Just pull the plunger all the way out the back, fill it with YerFavoriteŽ grease, and put the plunger back in. Run a spoke down the side to open a passage, then put the plunger back in. Squeeze the excess air out and grease away.

The clear ones should work fine. I use amber-colored ones at work to distinguish them from IV medications.
