hop onto a wall

I was wondering what it was called when you bunny hop onto a wall and how I would go about doing one.

If you're referring to when you bunny hop onto the wall and ride the wall it's called a WLL RIDE...
If you're referring to when you bunny hop onto the wall when you're facing straight towards it and stall it's call a FAKIE

eh?

how do you do a wall ride out of a bunny hop? you should get a ramp somewhere, or at least get a pop off something. it would be pretty tough to wal ride out of a bunny.

I agree

It would be hard to do, but that's what i be talkin about that's what's been done.....u have to be going pretty fast to get the height and get a long enough contact on the wall

k...

k weve been trying ths, and you really need some height to get vertical against the wall. all youll end up with otherwise is a dented frame and a grazed knee (i should know..) happily, not my fave bike tho so its not all that bad...

Bunny hop= jump upward and slightly forward while holding onto the handle bars and pull the bike up with you and tuck ur feet behind ur butt

easy

an easier way is to pull your front end up first, then when you are sort of on a wheelie, 'pop; the back end up. you will get five times higher with this method, it looks cooler and its not such a strain.

That method is very straining also. I've attempted to do that many times befor, and either sacked myself(hard), or popped my wrist(painful), or flipped so high, that my tailbone cracked(not broken bone cracked, more like cracking your knuckles cracked, but still VERY painful). Besides, I can get some not-too-bad height. Just gotta keep at it.

update..
i can now get higher than my kneecap on bunnyhops!
..finally i can start to learn my grinds!
yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...PS. for that extra little push you need, try doing some hardcore riding around your town. No matter how much it hurts, keep pumping as if your life depends on it! I did this for about 3 weekends, and all of a sudden I can get some wicked height! All it took was me and my buddy putting in about 60k each day of the weekend riding to my fav. chix house, and his GF's house, and...
i am so proud of myself! yay!!!!!!!
