I don't know what I'm doing

Moved to Austin Texas last year and there are bad ass trails for miles upon miles upon miles
I run and swim and play in the natural spring creek that runs down the middle and I thought this would be bad ass on a bmx.
I want to build a bike from scratch so I know everything about it before I go ride
I've got some money to spend over time and I am willing to wait for the goods
I bought a Hoffman condor frame it should be coming in a few days is this a "street frame" or does that matter?
What lines on forks, cranks, wheels, and what not, do I need to ride up and down hills with somewhat rugged limestone and rock outcroppings?
I don't need the neccessery 110% best but I don't want to go cheap help a brother out.
please and thank you

Start by looking through some old threads to see what else has already been suggested.

sounds like your gona be doing more mountain bike type terrain....but if you want good wheels for bmx look at the Odysseay Cassette....for cranks either Profile's or Primo or Odyssey cranks...and for forks either Odyssey Dirt fork, Race fork or S&M pitchfork or S&M Racefork or the S&M Pitchfork LT....

i think expatriate said it best. plus if he looks through old threads he can see everyones opinion not just a one sided view of a few peoples making it so he knows even more. plus our time wont be wasted by replying to the same type of thread.
