Need new Stem and Pedals...

I NEED new pedals. I let my friend borrow my DK to ride home, turn out he took it trail riding and got dirt in my unsealed Welgo pedals, and the gridning sound is driving me crazy. Im also look for a new stem, to replace my old one. Also, what's a good set of street tires?

just take the pedals apart and clean them out and put them back together, getting new ones would be a waste, unless they are plastic or sumthing

I was gonna do tht but heres the problem. Though I have a large garage with ALOT of tools, I cannot find a socket that fits the inner bolt. I can but its not a deep socket and thats what I need. I might try putting in ATV chain lube if I couldfind some. Also I want nicer pedals and this is a good excuse.

fuzzy is right, no need for new pedals clean the ones you have out if you have any other friends that ride ask them if they have any tools that you can use, also did you you even THINK about looking at that thread titled PEDALS...made by Fuzyrider....

but if you are set on gettting new pedals then go with either Primo Tenderizers, Primo Pro, Odyssey JC or if your not a pedal grinder then go with the JC Mg's or the Mg Tenderizers...(magnesium has lower impact strenght then regular aluminium and chromoly, so if your going to be grinding pedals they'll wear down faster and eventually break, the also make cool sparks...(Magnesuim is the white in fireworks...)
as for the stem S&M Redneck LT hands down
and the tires for street go with Primo Commet in the back and Primo Wall in the front.

Primo makes good pedals that will last a lifetime if they are taken care of. As for stems it is basicaly up to your personal preference. I think that the S&M redneck stem is good. It comes in several colors and is super strong.
