Sorry, but that would be a waste of $160. The seller should be beaten for even suggesting that it's anything more than a pile of crap. It's gotten some good reviews, but mostly by kids that probably don't know better. The spec on is is nothing special, it's just a fairly light bike. You can certainly do better. What do you have now that's so bad? Would spending the $160 improve it enough to make it race-worthy? Are there used bikes available from anyone at your local track?

see i would slowly accuire racing parts for my current bike, but then i wouldnt really be able to use it for dj. or at least the guy at my lbs says racing parts are made to be light and fast, not to take a beating after a beating.

i dont want a really good bike or a good bike at all, just something i can race on untill i get some money togather to make a race bike. i also need a fricken helmet!

Yeah, I'd say that that bike was worth around $200 when it was in the shop, five or six years ago.

$60 ought to get you a full face helmet either on ebay or Jensons or Pricepoint. If your current bike has 2 wheels and rolls, just race that and upgrade when you can. Even though I'm a Haro fan, I think you'd just be throwing money away on that bike. It sounds like you're just a kid, in which case you ought to be able to build a bike that would hold up to some DJ action as well as be raceable. If you weigh 200 pounds, all bets are off.
