I have a GT vertigo, It is pretty heavy. can some please tell me some parts I could get that are cheap and light weight

come on....you could have bought a better frame than a GT....but anyways.....if you want light rims but with strength but a pair of araya super7 there cheap too

If your new to bmx dont worrie about the weight of your bike. Just ride it and when you are sure you wanna stick with it just get a new bike. There isnt much you can do to make it ligher w/o spending a lot of money.
