Backwards to forwards.

Hey guys I know this may sound really dumb, but since I had started bmxing for quite awhile..I still don't know what that skill is called. You know, when you do a 180 and then pedal backwards and turn the bike around...What is it called? And how do you do it? I'm still practising that and I can't seem to do it. Help!

A rollout is simply riding backwards. You're talking about either a pivot out, a slider/smoothie, or a halfcab.

Yeah. Practice doing them. And the faster you go, the easier they are.

To do a simple one.. start traveling backwards, turn your bars and tap your breaks. You should then spin around and be going forwards.. also instead of using your breaks, try locking your feet and this will cause the same thing to happen but take longer to get the hang of.

Doing that with brakes is for p*ssies. Just turn your bars, lean back, and swing that sh*t around.

they're not, you have brakes, use them. And you dont really have to lift your front all that much with the brakes method, it should just happen.

pedal back, turn your bars and pedal forwards if you are learning. or you can land in an x-up and do a revert
