Primos new Mix Cassette

Primo came out with a new cassette, and it can run an 8t driver. the problem is that there is no chainwheel that would fit the correct gear which is 22-8t people have only made them as low as 23t. someone tell me the solution to this problem!!!

you run a 23, one tooth isnt going to make much of a difference. Besides, thats completly pointless, why would you want to go that small?

He's concerned about size, apparently.

1) 23-8 is the smallest sprocket that one can make, without having the sprocket bolt interfere with the chain.
2) 9-tooth drivers already cause chains to snap prematurely, due to the increased stress and tension put on them. 8-tooth drivers (or, in Primo's case, cogs) are even worse.

how come stress is caused on a lower gear. is it because of the loss of surface area?

Besides the tight bend, your short chain goes around a lot more than a long chain.

25t is already more than small enough to be out of the way. why would you want to go any lower?
