now shut up asking  |
No one asked.

Ex, every week we get about 5 kids asking about disk brakes and another 3 asking about shocks. its probably the most asked question next to "what bike is light and cheap and strong?"
|
Link me to those threads, ok? I must have missed them.
|
For a kid who registered less than a month ago, he sure knows a lot about how often we get topics about disc brakes and shocks.

It's true the same topic come up from time to time. But Who knows, there may be a new twist to an old problem. Now there this handy new bike with disc and susp. Only it's not full suspension short travel like I'd like to see. But it's something. Although. I guess if the front has suspension, the frame would pivot onthe rear axel, this givein suspension to the cranks. I suppose what ever the travel is on the front, it's about 1/2 at the cranks. But a boingy front end doesn't sound appealing when you crankin your way up to a jump..

the biggest jumps i have ever seen people go off have been on mountain bikes, with both front and full sus. so they must be something good about them. i thought ex stoped this disc brake crap by closing the other thread, guess not. |
If it's going to be another argument about nothing, this one will get closed too.
