powdercoating aluminum?

i got a aluminum mosh frame from a friend of mine,i have no idea what model it is.

i have the ability to get it powdercoated but i just wanted to ask if it will be safe to have it done? i didnt know if the heat would cause it to become weaker or anything.

Never tried that. You could weld disc brakes mounts to it.

Yeah, weld the aluminum frame. And then have it heat treated again. People will continue to call you stupid if you continue with the stupid comments.

Powdercoating doesn't heat the metal up enough to cause any worries.

Is that like...a guy who knows how to weld aluminum, ('cause you sure don't seem to)? 'Cause like...there's a bunch of ways to do it with different kinds of equipment based on what you're trying to accomplish and what specific alloys you're working with.
