Getting a lot of air?????

I just build this pretty big jump on the track next door. I'm serious it's pretty big for a beginner. It's like 7 feet tall. I can do it smoothly but my problem is air. I get like no air. It sucks!!!! To clear the jump you have to pedal so fast. So I am going like super fast I pull up pretty hard and guess what my brother and my mom told me that I only got 2 feet of air. 2 feet that sucks. I can get almost that much air bunnyhopping. Please tell me what is wrong. The Ramp is steep so it should send me into outer space. But it doesn't though, it sends me a measly 2 feet. Help me please Thanks

You're obviously not going as fast as you think you are, or the ramp isn't as big as you say it is.

I no I am going fast. I can definitely tell on that. but realistically the ramp is about 5 and half feet tall. Still I should be getting more air than two feet. What is the key to shaping ramps. Maybe i shaped it bad

I have no idea what that second response is aimed at, but what you consider to be fast probably is not all that fast. When I think "fast" on a BMX bike, I think "18+ mph".

That'd be a rather interesting match for a group ride, anyway.

When a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
