i found a biek today in the trash, it actually was my friends old bike that he threw away and somone found it and rode it. It seems to be in decent condition, one question in it has a short crank, what i mean is the rod that goes down from the crank to the pedals is short, is this good or bad?

By short, do you mean its shorter than the other side? Can you post a picture of it?

It's spelled rod, not rode, we drive on rodes.

And so help me god if somebody posts a Yakov Smirnoff joke...

1) A crankarm is not a rod.
2) Rode is a past-tense verb.
3) We drive on roads.

It has kid cranks on it 'cause it's a kid bike. It was probably in the trash for a reason.
