hey, im new to bmxs and i need some help chooseing the right bike ;) . i ride a lot on my mountain and rode bikes but i wana learn some stuff on bmx. i dont wana spend to much but at the same time i dont want a peice of junk. i was looking at a Haro maby the f2 looks good but thats a little to much for me. then theres the GT 2006 Performer and the GT 2006 Zone, i can get quite a lot off them bikes since the shop that sells them our family knows them well and bought a lot of bikes off them lol and i mean a dam lot :p im pretty sure theres a bike shop that my freind has 'connections' lol with that could sell me a low-end to middle range hoffman bmx to me for a good price. i dont know much at all about bmx so i wana learn i rather like the GT performer. i kinda want a bike thats good at both street and trails. thanks for ur help :D
EDIT: just was looking at the specialized Fuse range, they would be rather good for what i do and does any1 know the price range for them? thanks |
the f2 is really heavy. and i am not a fan of gt anymore since they are owned by a walmart brand now. . .
i have ridden a hoffman, and i liked it. what do you mean by trails? dirt jumps? or mountain bike trails? |
well i do enjoy dirt jumps, and i basicly ride mountain trails when i get the chance but i think ill ride pretty much street and the occasional dirt jump when i ride the bmx. the GT prefomer is the exact price i was lookin at it does look very decent for the price. i know nothin about hoffmans i think i should go down to the local bike shop today and say im looking at purchasing a hoffman and ask to take it for a spin. but im open to any bike/brand you throw at me

Spend a bit more time on your spelling and grammar. You might also consider a used bike, rather than getting a new bike that's a total pile.

Hey all, Well ive steered away from GT and Mongooes, I took em for a test yesterday and it just felt and looked to me a little bit 'lame'. So im going to test a Hoffman in a few days:) . Well im looking at the EITHER the Rhythm EL2 which i can get it for about 450-400 AUD or a Distrupter EL2 which would cost a little more. So what do you think of both bikes? I know that there two diffrent bikes in the sence of they are built to do diffrent things, Rhythm must be a dirt/trail bike and the Disrupter must be a more urban/street bike. The Disrupter would be good for me since i want to learn street since i can take my MTB on the trails.
