It's hard to explain but i'll have a go.

While rolling forward lean back so your front wheel lifts off the ground then jump forward lifting your bike by the handlebars and push them up and forward.

Hope this helps!

keep practicing. Its really hard to figure out, and impossible to explain. It took me a few months to figure it out. Once you figure it out your bunnyhop progreess will sky rocket. Thats the hardest part of it.

You may wish to check the rules; the rules clearly state that you should do your best with spelling and punctuation, and it is greatly appreciated around here. Oh, and about the welcome, don't take it personal, many people don't read the rules and/or just don't/didn't like to follow that rule. I was also guilty in breaking this rule in the beginning, and I got much worse of a welcome- I got burned by Expat.

I hate to be rude (not really )but you can't type how you want. Take your caps lock off. It's really annoying when people type in all caps, which is why there's a filter so that you can't. As far as spelling and grammar, Mr. Gunz is right - you do need to do your best. So just chill out, and we'll be cool. Otherwise it's nothing but pommy jokes for you.

Cheers,

Ex.

lean back as far as you can, and once you are at that point you let your weight off your bike while pulling up your bars and twisting your grips forward enogh to lift up your bike.

Practice.

Manualing it seems, is one of those tricks that if you dont try it and practice it, you lose them.

Thats how i find it...

like Jerry said, visualize pointing your toes down, pushing back on the pedals while at the same time pushing forward on your bars (this is after you've pulled the front wheel way up). When you push in opposing direction like this, you are locking your feet to the bike (they won't slide off if you push the bars good). Then you just bend your knees and snap the back end up.
Watch how a bucking bronco does his thing. First the front then the back.

all these donkeys on here that are obsessed with grammar need to seriously get a life, people are here for help with BMXing, and if we can understand what they're saying whether they have a few spelling mistakes or some caps who honestly cares. if you guys keep being dicks about it no one is going to want to come to this board

Your wife is fat and your kids are ugly, and your dog is smarter than you. No one here is obsessed with grammar, but there are forum rules that everyone needs to follow. We're all required to do our best when it comes to spelling and grammar. So if anyone cops to being semi-literate, we'll cut them some slack. Everybody else needs to toe the line. These forums are visited by people from all over the world, and for many of them, English is not their first language. It makes it even more difficult for them when the posts are full of slang, AOLese, shorthand spelling, or plain sloppy grammar. And all caps is just plain annoying.

Cheers,

Ex

To me it seems impossible to learn how to bunny hop by the internet, because everybody does it a little differntly.... I taught myself by practicing, thats the easiest way.

You're the perfect example. We beat you into submission, and everything's fine now.

This is for everyone - We all joke around here. That's all well and good. But if you want to be obnoxious and annoying, it's probably best you don't post here. It's that simple. Everyone needs to show courtesy to other members, and I shouldn't have to be a babysitter.
