I got to admit I did post something similar but regarding completes.

BUT

If somebody could give me an idea of a tried and tested full bike for around $300- $400 for street.
I'm 22 but only short like 5'5 and 160lbs but want a light bike as i'll be doin some jumps.

I have done BMX before and I was good a few years back at silly little flatland tricks and small jumps but I wanna get into it again now. This forum inspires me alot but I could do with further advice regarding a bike.

So if you can help and your not t26... whatever suggesting a dimondback or a redline please post!

Oh and to answer the fella who started this, from what I gather on here FIT, DK and Higher end hoffman are good.

For the most part, i agree

Fuzzyryders mongoose is decent, since its one of the higher end, non-kmart ones...

I was lookin at a Mongoose today that looks sweet as it's the McCann 06.

I know f-all about bikes really but it has Snafu pedals and levers, an Oddessy rear hub/ rim or just hub and sealed something or other.

Here you go https://www.alansbmx.com/product_info...oducts_id=2627

I'm going to buy that or a wethepeople darkness as there the best I can find round here.

The WTP spec is https://www.alansbmx.com/product_info...oducts_id=2672

Which one would you get guys?

the mccann is much better in my opinion, 2 of my friends have darknesses and i have ridden the mccann and it seems a better bike. Also, the mccann has much better parts like snafu and odyssey instead of salt on the wethepeople which you cant even buy seperatly

Acctually, it's not a mongoose, its a hyper LP signature frame. Only the bars, stem, fork, and seat are mongoose. And yes, the Mongoose mcann is a very good bike, as is the fuzz pro, and a few other of their high end completes.
