Figures

I've been able to ride my bike again for less than a week since my surgery, and now my driver kicked the bucket on me. Whats a good driver to go with? I have a Premium hub that fits odyssey drivers and i was running a unsealed blackout 9t driver. The blackout didnt last long so I'd like to try something else. Any suggestions would help.

Go back to a larger driver, they are stronger, i would never go any lower than 28-10...
Also check if your Blackout driver has a warranty.

Is Beerman around? Does he have any input? He seems to know just about everything about every company and product.

I still stand with the, go with a larger cog, becuase the bigger they are the stronger, the smaller ones get more pressure and wear and tear faster...

Just go up a little to a 28-10...

I use an RNC 9-tooth in my Odyssey, but I don't like it very much (mainly because Ryan Frisk, the guy that runs RNC, was too stupid to deburr the driver before shipping it off) even though I haven't had any issues with it since I first got it.

RNC is out of business now, anyway, though.

Do you have any recomendations on what to go with?

Try getting a Profile (mega expensive) or Knight driver, then.

Profile and Knight both make 9t RHD drivers for Odyssey hubs; for 9t drivers for that hub, you have to go for an aftermarket brand, because Odyssey does not make drivers below 10t.

For the price of a new Profile or any 9t Ti driver, you could get a 10t driver that is stronger and cheaper along with a new sprocket...

And its barely bigger (28-10)
