DK Six Pack. Fit Pro. Stolen Wrap. Can't go wrong with any of them. Oh, for racing you're friends, you can pretty much just use any bike that pleases you because you aren't doing it competitively... if you plan on doing racing competitively, buy two bikes... or just race.

I have to cut him some slack - Aussie schools aren't exactly the best. Of course, it's even more ironic that Diamond Back spelled "Nitrous" incorrectly as well.
If you're really smooth, and don't stack it too often, you might get away with the DB. But of you're doing more jumping than anything else, stay away from race bikes.
Cheers.

both of them suck. 1-2 meters is a little more than 3-6 feet which will most likely snap your aluminum frame. pick something else.

He's got to go with what's available. Oz isn't like the US, you take what the bike shop offers, and pay through the nose. My X3 sells for about $600 over there. I don't know the specs on the GT, (and I used to sell them) but it's probably better than the DB. I've got pictures of guys at my track 15 feet in the air on race bikes, but that doesn't make them a good choice fpr jumping. And it's not the size of the jump, it's the quality of the landing.

Get whatever you want, we tried telling you what to get but your not going to listen.
So, go ahead and get a racebike, snap it and end up with broken wrists.

So next time we get another stupid thread asking the same question, we should all post the exact same thing that mude said, like word for word.
And or a link to the thread i tried making to clean up all the dumb threads:
