The newest hub from Nankai. The Bamboo hub uses the tried and true Nankai internals that make it the most reliable and functioinal freecoaster available. The Bamboo goes a step further by incorporating a hollow 14mm chromoly axle to make it truly street worthy yet lighter than the original Nankai 3/8" hub.

I definitely wouldn't buy it. A lot better options out. Khe street, bruce crisman reverse (coming out), federal freecoaster (coming out).

My Nakai and the Odyssey Reloader are the only freecoasters i've tried. I wasnt exactly a fan of either of them, but the Oddy was deffinatly better then my Nankai.

You deal with it.

Watch some old BMX video's, people run with two brakes, four pegs and other heavy parts. A heavier hub is nothing to fret about.

Just the fact that i kept getting punctures from all the glass around here and therefore i got lots of holes in them. Thats why i changed. The walls on them are pretty thin. I'm selling both of them to a mate for £10.
