Making perfect dirt jumps

i make these dirt jumps but they never seem to give me that much air

i was wondering do anyof you guys no how to make a dirt jump that will give me good air or ways to improve my air time

i need a way that doesn't have to make the jumps 10 feet tall cuz i don't got that much dirt lying around

thanks in advance for your help

Well, the only thing i can think of right now is to make your jumps steep with a really nice lip. and go as fast as you can at them. that is what i was doing when i first started bmxing

personally i noticed if i bike around town and uh just shoot around even though its not needed it helped get me to go faster because my muscles are used to short bursts of speed that well help me go. maybe its just the little bit of old racing thats coming through but thats what i'd try.

i know exacly what the problem is, you are probably making the jump to wide, you have to make the lip bigger as Mid-WestBMX said, and boost.
