Standard Bullitt, Kink Cielencki, DBI Patriot are your best bet, but if you are looking for something lighter than that go to http://thickbikes.com/ where they build you a custom frame out of any material that you would like.

if u want light get aluminum

Roy Mitchell 06-16-03 11:09 AM

... s&m stricker is really light and it has a euro bb

S&ML.A.F.rider 06-23-05 08:34 PM

s&m laf

FuzzyRyder 06-23-05 10:09 PM

Don't get aluminum unless you are a racer, aluminum is not made for anything other that racing, the new S&M L.A.F (light as fu*k) frame is if not the lightest, one of the lightest frames on the market, its realy nice and weights in a 5 lbs. alot of good features to, like integrated head tube and the chain stay tubes are welded lower on the bb shell to accomodate a chainstay mounted brake and still run a small gearing

Actually, it's only available with a Mid BB now; to get a Euro model, you'll have to look around for a '03 or '04 Stricker.

edit: And I just noticed that this is two years old. Good job, f*cktard.

Industry still makes wheels and cranks. they probably suck

CMcMahon 06-23-05 11:07 PM

Considering that they're all knock-off parts: yes, yes they do suck. Vic Murphy may be a helluva rider, but he's a shady businessman.

industry makes these rims with these "lightening holes" in them. ******** if you ask me.

this Post Is Over Two Years Old...

Why Are People Responding!!!????!!!????

jbonus 06-24-05 02:21 PM

So, nickpark...You must have come to some kind of a solution by now.

CMcMahon 06-24-05 03:54 PM

He hasn't posted since June 2003, so I highly doubt that you'll get a response to that from him.

Brian 06-25-05 04:39 AM

If anyone's truly interested, I can get you a custom BMX frame that would probably weigh 3lbs or less. But none of you race, so never mind.

BMXTRIX 06-25-05 10:44 AM

I ride flatland - I'll take it. ;)

It will be the most expensive 10 minutes you've ever spent on a bike. If the same OS tubing that's used on my tandem was used, the front triangle would be plenty strong. But I don't see how they can make the back end strong enough to take much abuse. Too bad, because I'd really like to get myself a custom Ti BMX frame.
