got a Schwinn
hey yall, i just bought a schwinn super stock 2.... this is my first good bike... i've had a nice mongoose mountian bike, but that was a while ago and i wont get into it. anyways, i'm starting to go over ramps and such and i need help on landing. i dont want to wack up the rims like on my old bikes... and this is my first 20'er in a while, its hard to get use to. thanks
also, it seems like the front gear slightly swearves and after a few hard landings and crashes it seems like the handdle bars are loose/creak
NOT a weight weenie
If your front sproket looks bent you might want to pull the drive side crank and inspect it and the sproket itself. Sounds lke something is bent or the sproket is loose. Either way you will have to pull the drive side crank to fix it. If your bars are loose try tightening it up at the stem bolts. If this does not work you may have begun to strip the bars.
As far as your landings are you in dirt or the street? Trick is to both is to be smooth. Slamming down after a jump will wreak havoc on all your parts not just your wheels.
booth street and dirt. what about when i land hard on one weel? and for some reason i always kick the tail out to the right, causing my back tire to land side ways a little, how bad is this?
