Can Anyone Identify this Frame?

First post, trying my best to appear literate - searched and did not find a suitable preexisting thread, but I'm not that bright.

https://i17.ebayimg.com/03/i/000/93/91/3dd8_3.JPG

https://i13.ebayimg.com/05/i/000/93/91/5996_3.JPG

I picked this up on ebay for $37 shipped, It was listed as FLY, but I don't think that is the case. There are no distinguishing marks other the serial and a stamp on the bb, "MUT". It weighs about 7lbs, 20.5 tt, USA bb, 14-15 cs, 1-1/8ht, 14mm and 25.4 st. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty damned sure it isn't a Fly, unless it's one of their old flatland bikes. The dropouts are pretty big, the seat tube/top tube/seat stay junction doesn't look to well thought out and the gusset looks un-needed, plus the chain stays are ridiculously long. I'm going out on a limb here but I'm going to say cheap X-mart frame.

I don't think X-mart bikes have 14mm dropouts. 37 bucks isn't bad, get some old parts and build it up.

I would say the same.

Either way it's a pig but looks like a decent deal.

Recall information

"Cracking can occur where the top and down tubes of the bicycle frame join the head tube, below the handlebar stem. These tubes could break apart, potentially causing the rider to lose control and fall."

I'd buy it. Its definelt not a Pro Stock 3. It's got a different head tube.

I looked at Mutiny first, because of the 'mut' stamp on the bb, but it doesnt really look like anything current, so I was sort of stumped. Seems like a great deal to me - I was looking to build up something while I'm injured (torn acl/mcl) over the next few months. Thanks, all.

That's because the current Mutiny frames don't look anything like the first Mutinys from the late 90's.
