ebay bike...
So I just bought this bike on ebay, and the whole thing has been spray bombed black. Basically I was wondering if there is anyway to identify the frame for sure. I would also like to be able to i.d. the bars and forks. So if anybody knows how I can i.d. some parts without scraping off the paint, let me know thanks.

- why would you buy a bike 'spray-bombed' black and not identified by a seller from an on-line auction site?

Put up the link and pictures to the bike. This thread is useless without either.

sorry, I forgot to post the link, this is the bike. And basically, I just want to make sure, that the frame is a fit s3 and not some other fit frame. There are a lot of ways to scam on ebay. I don't think it would be too far fetched to claim a fit s3 and actually have a fit complete frame.

rating of 4...all other feedback was from sellers...personally, I wouldn't have purchased the bike...just my $.02

I figure it was a decent price, for the parts, its is a little beat up, but its not that bad. Afterall, I'm going to abuse it myself. The only reason I'm questioning this bike is because the wheels are also spraypainted and beat up more than he said. There are a couple really minor dents in the frame. Not good, but not that that bad... Basically the bike was described very well, but I still feel like it was a decent deal. So long as I'm not getting screwed on the parts I can't verify myself.

well, it looks like it was painted and ridden. I'm really not OK with bike thieves...
