2Hip bikes

I'm not thinking of getting one, I'm just wondering if these are good bikes. I never hear anyone talk about them and they look like they would be good. I really like a lot of their bikes.

Actually, they really aren't that bad. Just nobody pays any attention to them.
Having said that, were I in the market for a complete, I doubt I'd get one.

I hear they're big in Japan though.

Shaun Butler rides/rode for them i think. And he's awesome. Their completes look nice, but i'd much rather get a Fit or DK complete.

I used to think like that as well. I have a Fit right now, and I hate it. I just found out today that my bars are completely bent.

That's nice. My bending is from when I broke my leg.

The only reason you hate yours is because it's a POS Fit Pro. If you had at least gotten the team you wouldn't be complaining. Also Eightdip has no say in this matter because he destroys parts like they are made from cardboard no matter what they are... and he has bad luck cause my Fit is kicking ass.

Yes, well, compared to other bikes in the same price range to my Fit, it is inferior. I'm going to break the whole thing within a month.

Uh, no. 2-Hips completes are pretty damn kickass, as are their frames.

Granted, I know the owner of the company, his wife, his intern, and a bunch of people on the team, so I'm a bit biased, but whatever.

No, I've known Ron and Jarrod for years, and 2-Hip intern Adam is totally awesome, and wears silly hats (much like Ron).

Darn. I think this is true though. My other FSA crank arm is looking very sketchy, stress marks and all

Hmm, let me see.

Haro and Flow Front wheels
Stem (my fault, screwed the threads)
Tektro brake lever snapped
Bent Flow bars (they were too small anyway)
Bent Flow frame
Haro Sprocket (bent to hell and back)
Many chains
snapped cranks (FSA, 2 years old)
ruined many freewheels (odyssey ones suck)
Unsealed bb's many a time
Bent some 1 piece cranks a while ago

I guess thats about it?
