wow some people are stupid. i bought my rims and thought they were double cause they said. sucks.

KinetikBiker 07-13-07 06:08 AM

A seat post is a seat post. Let's be serious here. If you need pivitol they are pretty much all the same give or two a few ounces and shapes. And regular guts are all pretty much the same nowadays. You kids are silly.

FitRider 921 07-13-07 10:08 AM

There's a bit of a difference between a normal pivotal post and a pivotal stump post.

wethepeople 07-13-07 10:12 AM

Not that a hacksaw cant fix.

Also, my 1664 post and aitken seat are lighter then most pivotal combo's anyways.

FitRider 921 07-13-07 10:31 AM

No, the work to fix a regular Macneil post to make it into a stump is absurd because you have to file the whole top. I'll probably end up ordering the new Animal seatpost.

reppen the 90's i think its a 96 or 97 mongoose menace with the no brakes upgrade lol

live4muzic2 07-13-07 10:09 PM

holy crap! that chain is super loose. looks rusty too. best upgrade you can make.

KinetikBiker 07-14-07 06:38 AM

WTP, your wheels are too big!

wethepeople 07-14-07 10:14 AM

And so are my brakes, bars and everything else on that bike :p.

Also, i'm running pegless on the MacNeil just to **** up the frame so I can get a new one. Even though the rear triangle is twisted isn't enough of a reason for me.

FitRider 921 07-14-07 10:27 AM

If you wanted to mess up the frame, wouldn't using pegs do that just a wee bit quicker? Or are you trying to do pegless grinds? Your frame is nice- I wouldn't ruin it.

TedC 07-14-07 11:01 AM

So picked up these two today, first real jump into bmx...

both Haro backtrail X1s...the black one is in need of just a little tune up, and the blue needs alot more(including the obvious tube up front).

Pegless grinds, and my frame is already twisted.

Also, **** three piece hubs, I destroyed my front hub so bad tonight the bike is barely ridable. Time for a new front wheel.

FitRider 921 07-14-07 07:18 PM

What did you to your front wheel? Did you try pegless smiths?

wethepeople 07-14-07 07:25 PM

Ate **** on a rodeo grind X-up beerman style.

live4muzic2 07-14-07 07:28 PM

so what kind of condition are you in?

wethepeople 07-14-07 07:30 PM

pissed, horny, hungry.

In that order.

live4muzic2 07-14-07 07:34 PM

that means you mean you didnt get too hurt. today i tried a 180 on a 16 inch and the axel went into my ankle.

wethepeople 07-14-07 07:41 PM

I landed on my ass pretty hard, but it's fine.

wethepeople 07-15-07 02:10 AM

Youtube has a good one.

I also broke my hub tonight, like, made it un ridable and had to call a ride.

One of the guys i ride with does alot of pegless stuff. He's fairly smooth so he usually get 'em on his dropouts and doesn't kill anything. I just think he should get some pegs and cut them down a bit.
