this is my first bike ever which i just uncovered under all the junk in my garage.
im planning on restoring it soon. has a little bit rust on it (chain, bb, cranks, wheels and bars), im assuming my dad left it out in the rain for a few days.
this is my 2001 gt bump. all stock for now, probably will need a new wheelset. STOKED

No, just helping out an old friend getting back into riding. His current bike is a p.o.s. from the 90's and will not cut it. Also, it cleans out my overstock.

I thought that also about having too many bikes. Now I feel that I cannot enjoy all of the ones I have to their fullest potential. So I'm thinning the herd down.

As being a good friend, sure thing.

Do you need any parts?

That is true as well. And I can't say anything, I'm trying to get rid of a couple bikes.

And for parts, would you by chance have a 26.8mm seatpost? It's an oddball size, and I need it for my race bike. It would be very greatly appreciated if you had one.

You're such a cool guy.

Aluminum. No. And you posted in the wrong thread. There's one for buying/asking about bikes.
