Frame

So, I finally decided on a frame that I want. I really like the brakeless Seshin Megatron frame in 20.4. http://seshinbikes.com/products.htm It's such a nice frame, and I don't even need to buy a new headset or BB. Oh yeah, and it's also only $200. When I eventually snap my frame (when my mom cools down and actually lets me ride), that's what I'm getting.

It looks nice a nice frame. Get that Solid headset since it's not integrated.

I've been thinking about selling my Solid and getting an Ivy or PW. I just might.

The read tri on my AA is crooked. And the asthetics of it pisses me off.

Plus the Ivy and PW Moto's were my other choices for frames. I'm also fairly positive this is the last year they are going to make PW's.

Trendy or not, regular headtube frames aren't archaic. As long as you've got a good headset like a Solid you are set.

Or a Chris King for racers. Those headsets are amazing, also expensive.

None integrated headset frames have the advantage of being able to replace the bearing cups if they wear out or get damaged.

You don't have to race for a Chris King. But you do have to have a bit of money.

I was tempted to get one of their cassettes. They are sweet. They don't have normal drivers.

I have one on my MTB. I'm only running it because I got it for $40CAD.

And Kinetic, the rear triangle is crooked on my MacNeil too, annoying as **** eh?

Their cassettes are sooo expensive. I heard that the engagement on them is amazing. I want them.

And WTP, is there anything special with the CK headsets?

Smooth as butter, and I just torqued the ****er down till there was no wobble and then kept going to see what it would take to make it bind.

It never bound...

I think there are like 52 points of engagement on those hubs or something in that ballpark. Super nice.

paying 200 dollars for a headset is the stupidest thing ive ever heard.

admittedly they will last ages. but who actually has regular hheadset problems. and replacing bearings is not one bit challenging.

as for chris king hubs, amazing. have you heard one of the mountian bike ones. beautiful

Solid headsets for the win. King is nice, but not quite worth it in my opinion.

Wouldn't that require the use of a question mark? I should be getting most of my parts in tomorrow. I have to go to the shop to pick up everything except my Macneil Stump post and purple Edwin grips that are coming via mail. Riding tomorrow. Ballinnnn.

I would be riding today, but I exploded my front hub last night something fierce, and I don't know where the purple bike is so I cant take the Hoffman Generator off the front.

I was thinking about getting a Generator for the back since it's so cheap. If I did that, then I would have a bit more money for a better hub. As of now, I'm really looking at an Anorexia or Mix hub to a Hazard Light with DT spokes.
