Dropouts Bent

Hey, I've been having bad times with my bike. From it being almost stolen to stolen parts causing me to crash . Fortunately, at night I had found out who was stealing the parts but, he wouldn't tell me where he hid the parts.

Anyways, after he stole my brake gyro , he was taking my favorite Odyssey pegs bending my dropouts ! After riding on the streets and parks the rear wheel locked up throwing me off. When I got home I found out after wiggling the wheel around that the dropouts were bent making my wheel lean way off to the left side rubbing against the frame.

If anyone could help me fix this I would really appreciate it. I am looking for the Alignment Guage on eBay and the cheapest one was $78.

Big adjustable wrench and a good eye. Dropouts on a well used BMX aren't straight anyways.

Hell, my rear triangle is twisted over a inch.

Thanks, I'll try that right now. I also might get a new BMX anyways...maybe a Seshin ****hawk. Not sure, what to choose as my 2006 GT Compe is doing fine, but could do better.

My dropouts are completely bent on my grind side. It's nothing a bit of grinding and filing can't fix.

If you cant find a wrench, a vice grip will also work but it's a bit more stubborn.

Adjustable wrenches make it really easy.

You're only involved in the BMX forum.

I did find a wrench, but found out another way to fix it temporarily till I get the Alignment Guage. I took the metal washers from the hub, inserted the left one on the outside of the dropouts and the right one on the inside of the dropouts, which actually fixed it! The thing is...will it make it worse while like smith grinding or anything?

I have a laptop, so it's pretty easy to bring it with me pretty much everywhere. Today I should be riding... after I cut my bars and fix my stem.
