The Popular bike is the DK sixpack.

I prefer the older bikes, in the last week i've picked up 3 older bmx bikes each mush less than 300. (about 120 total)

I picked up a haro evo, gt dyno, and a Schwinn. I havent been able to completely identify the schwinn, but when i do i'll post pics of the three.

If you dont mine putting some time and money, i think buying a used older bike is the way to go.

the newer bikes appear to be lighter and stronger than the old ones.

You only want to spend around $300, but yet you want something "higher class." You can't customize a bike for that little. For around $300 is the Stolen Wrap and DK Six Pack, which are both very good bikes.

Stick to the new bikes, bikes are upgraded each year for a reason
