What bike do I get

I want to get into BMX and I need to choose a bike first. I dont know if it really matters what bike I get or not but I am looking to spend around $200 and want the best bike for my money. So could everyone please help me and tell me what bike to get and what website to get it from.

Thanks
Tommy

Go to your local shop and look around or check www.danscomp.com.

Find the bike you want and order it. You probly wont take our advice, since you already forgot to use the search button which would have given you the best answers.

Yeah BOIIIIIIIIIII...lame.

Tommy I don't do bmx but the best thing that I can refer you to is to find a local bike shop nearest you and give them a call. I'm sure they would be able to talk to you about the brands that they carry and from there maybe you can pop in to have a test ride.

They are very informative there and can help you find a bike that suits your needs. I know you are probably starting out so they might be able to show you something that is in your range and good for those who are learning.

I know this is exciting for you (I get excited every time I look for bikes) so try to be patient. You WILL be able to find a bike for you in your price range that would be perfect.

Good luck to you and please remember to let us know if you have anymore questions.

Hey Tommy - I'm glad to see that you are planning on getting a bike. Unfortunately, I don't ride BMX - so I can't be of much help. However, as some others have stated, you can check out your local bike shop and also browse the Internet (and this site) for more information. It's sometimes nice to be able to see and touch what you are buying. That's why I usually suggest a trip to the shop first.

Good luck with your decision, Tommy. When you do pick up a bike, be sure to check back and post a few pictures. We love pictures!

... Brad

It's called "helping out the new guy". Something that's nice to do every once in a while.

hold on. I picked this sub forum to post in because it was abrasive and rude. If all that's going to change I need to know so that I can move on.

Ya, but you did it wrong.

You're supposed to tell him to **** off and search, and that we hate newbies. It's the BMX forum way.
