New to BMX

Hey,

I am very new to this. All I can do is a manual and a two inch bunny hop.

I need help with the bunny hop. I always pull the bars too hard and the front tire pops way up and the back tire only pops a couple inches. Do you have any tips on keeping the bike level and popping the back tire?

Thanks

ok well i dunno if this aplies for bmx but with mtb i sorta bend down to my sattle and jump pusshing with my legs upwards, a slight push of the handle bars forward would help to get more air at the rear.

Your front wheel determines how high you go... the higher u get it the better. just extend ur arms when ur front is up and crouch ur knees into your chest... it helps a lot to try to hop different obstacles...

ps... it wont come quickly dont expect to be doin rails unless ur at it everyday 4-5 hours.... meh... just ride

Take it slow

Take it slow dude, just practice bunny hoppin up curbs and ****, next thing you know you'll be bunny hopping foot high ledges, and then even higher. I got my feebles dialed and my smiths, double pegs, etc. I got bored with it all and took my pegs off just within the last year. Now im going back to the basics. whatever you do, just remember to practice your basics, if you lose sight of those then your screwed.
