Got My first BMX

Hey everyone I got my first BMX. It is an 1991 GT-Dyno VFR it is all steel, which is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an 80's to early 90's steel BMX because I want to go out to our local dirt BMX track and our skate park. Plus it will be nice for going to the river with, as there are quite a few BMX riders down there in the summer. Over all the condition of it is excellent for a 17 year old bike. The paint is very nice, the grips will have to be replaced as something really sticky got on them, the front wheel had to be replaced immediately due to the last owner destroying it, the only thing possibly able to be salvaged is the hub. Oh and I will need to look for an new rear tire as the back tire is fairly bald. Other than that it is not going to need much. I picked it up for less than ten dollars. It is my project bike for right now. I have a road bike, mountain bike and BMX bike and they are all able to be out on the road, the BMX is just an project for right now.

well I got an new back tire and I got new grips for the bars. I still would like to upgrade the seat, wheel as it is green and a wheel my friend gave me to keep it rolling and I would like to get some metal pedals and some pegs for it but that stuff will have to wait for now. It is just nice to have it to just beat around town on. I actually took it to the skate park and it was really fun. Looking forward to the actual BMX course. Also I will visit the skate park again soon.
