"Headtube", thanks Do you think Standard is a good company to go custom with? If you didn't have a bike and you had $1500 to spend what kind would you get?

Thanks for the TT length recommendation.

Hey all, I'm looking to buy a bmx very soon, but I'm having issues deciding on a bike. I had a Haro Shredder in hs/college, but I got rid of it and now want to get something to fool around on. I've got a skatepark in town, and I'm planning on building a half-pipe in the back yard. As such it would be mostly for street / park use. I don't know of anywhere to go dirt jumping around here, anyway.
I'm 6'2" 215lbs, so I'm a pretty big guy.
I would like to buy a complete bike, and ideally it would be less than $400, or so. I know that's not a lot to work with, but times are tough. I would like the bike to be full CroMo, so it's light(er). I would like a bike with a gyro (for barspins), as I don't want to go brake-less.
Here is what I came up with... what do you think?
2009 DK Convex
2008 DK Cleveland

(I REALLY like the 2009 FBM Heathen, but no gyro. Damn. The 2009 Kink Whip is cool too, but same problem.)

One thing I'm worried about: are bikes with a 20.5 TT big enough for me?

Thanks for the help. Much appreciated!

You don't really need gyro, but it's up to you. The Convex and Cleveland are both good bikes though. I would look at the Kink Whip, I'm not sure if it has a full chromoly frame but the TT is 20.75".

That's a pretty good bike. Like I said, it's not full chromo, but unless you're doing some heavy riding, it should be fine.

I'm looking for a bike that would be around $400. I will probably do a little of everything with it. I will want one that will last awhile. I was looking at a eastern element but i'm not sure if their are ones that will be better.

What do you guys think of this frame? Decent base for a 20" project? Good price?

Edited for brevity:

Facts:
I don't BMX.
My friend BMX's.
We ride to the skate park often and I feel silly riding my road bike.
I'm not interested in seriously learning tricks.
I have a bunch of money to burn.
I'm a cheapskate.
I appreciate attractive, well-made bikes.
I'm 5'9 and ~160lbs.

Problems:
I live in Seoul, South Korea.
BMX equipment is hard to find and expensive.
We know of only one BMX shop in the city.
They carry: We The People, Mirraco, and Verde completes.

Solutions:
I think I like 24" wheels.
The shop has a 2009 We The People 'Avenue' for 690,000W (approximately $431.25 as of Saturday, March 7th).

oh, ok thanx. I think i'm gonna get it because i read some reviews on it and they said that it has a extremely strong frame but some of the smaller things break but i dont mind spending time on it.
