If to choose between 09 FIT STR Signature or an 09 Stolen Cheater I think Stolen Cheater is better

Im thinking about building a bike ground up since my walmart bike is as heavy as lead, and from what I've read, Chromoly is the way to go. My budget isnt real high, but I'm willing to save up if it help's out in the long run. I am real light, so weight's not a problem. I ride around and I plan on doing stunts/tricks on my lead bike, but nothing hard, so I'll need a frame with brake mounts. Remember that im absolutely new to half the stuff on here (anything not basic, sept for brakes) so feel free to educate me. If I have to go ugly for the frame, I can easily paint. So pretty much, mixed brand chromoly parts to build a bike ground up. (long poster)

To build a bike from the ground up, it'll cost a pretty penny. Usually about a grand is the cost of a custom bike.

Yeah, I was thinking that. But if you picked like the cheapest everything, I'm sure you could get about $1000.

yo I need a new one. my current bikes are all wal-gooses and they're falling apart on me. I've got a bunch of gift certificats to my lbs. they have 3 that I want; 1) Verde Vex, 2)FIT PRK2, 3) WTP 4seasons. I liek street, and I want something real tough. I'm still a noob but I try tricks I really can't handle, so the bikes gotta be strong. which should I get?

I already said, I'm still a noob. I jsut picked the best looking ones. (also by that logic, I;m not gonna get a TRL. i don't really like the look). probably gonna get a 4seasons. like 2 people have said to get it so far

Yeah, out of the ones you chose, the 4 Seasons is definitely the best choice. Hit it up.

https://www.freeagentbmx.com/06-eluder-09.htm

Is this a good entry bike for BMX racing? It should come in different sizes right?

If you look at the Redline website they come in different sizes
https://www.redlinebicycles.com/bmxra...t-pro-xxl.html
It looks like I need either the Pro XL or Pro XXL, I'm 5'10".

The Redlines are a little expensive though.

I have a Haro F3 but the tires are flat and when I pump them up they just go flat again. It is pretty heavy but not a big deal IMO. It has 4 pegs they should be relatively easy to remove, right? How can I tell what I need to replace to fix the tires/tubes and how can I do that? I also have another BMX bike I bought at the same time which is lighter, I don't know the make or anything though. I think I might just use one of those.

Look into Intense, GT, and Haro. They all make good entry-level bikes. And no, the Eluder doesn't come in different sizes.

I'm looking for entry-level bikes. The cheapest Haro, GT, and Intense are all upwards of $450. If the Eluder doesn't come in different sizes, how can I tell if it is the right size or whether I need to look at another model?

what entry level Haro is 450+? you can get a base F or X series for like 300. (295 at my lbs for a Haro f1). go HAro or Hoffman.

What is the best kind of racing bike to get? I think I'm going to go all out (say, not much over $1500, but would be happy if I could get top quality for less), what brand(s) should I be looking at? So far I've only been looking at Standard 125R because I've heard they are top notch.

I'm 5'10" and almost 210 (on my way down to a machine-like 195), what TT length should I get? I think it's either 21 or 21.5, but which?

Just out of curiosity, when they measure TT length, do they measure from the inner edge of the seat post to the inner edge of the "handle bar tube" (lol at my make-shift terminology)? Or, do they measure from the middle of the seat post to the middle of the "handle bar tube" lol ?

Thanks.

If you're willing to spend that much, go custom. I'm not sure how much mine has added up to so far, but it's somewhere around $1500.

I would probably go 21.5" for TT considering I'm about 5'5" and running a 20.5". And I'm pretty sure it's mid-seat post to mid-headtube.
