It's alright for racing. But if you get it, I would recommend getting new forks, because those are heavy steel. As well as the bars. I would actually just spend the extra $100 if you could to get the Pro XL. It at least has chromoly bars and cranks.

Thats an awesome bike. I had a chance to ride one the other day. It's really light.
